A shared library is the sum of all books you and your close friends have. Whenever you start following a close friend, the books your friend owns will become part of your virtual library.
It doesn’t. GoHardcover is an online tool for offline networks. Friends, family members, and coworkers with common interests can exchange books if they share common locations and avoid the environmental consequences generated through packaging and shipment.
1. Go to MyBooks and press the top right barcode icon.
2. Use the camera to scan the ISBN code available on the book cover, or press the keyboard icon to type in the ISBN code.

3. Choose Contacts or Invite via Email or Message. Your friends will receive a link to your profile, so they can follow you or browse through your book collection.

3. Press the share button at the top right of the screen.
4. Once the popup opens, let friends scan your QR code, download the QR code, print it, or share it for your friends to see on social media or send them a direct link by pressing the share button.
1. Click on one of the books you want to recommend.
2. Once the book preview screen opens, click on the top right share icon.
3. Choose any of the communication means you prefer, email or messaging app.
The message will contain a link to the book.
Currently, all books are borrowable for your very close friends and family members. When you no longer need a book, you can tag it as swappable if you want to exchange it for another or giveaway if you wish to give it to your friends for free.
1. Go to MyBooks.
2. Press the small borrow or giveaway icons present on the book card.

2. Tap on the book you want to borrow.
3. Press the Get A Copy button.
4. Choose one of the options from the list of all available instances.
5. Tap the Request button.
6. The book owner receives a notification containing the book request.
7. The owner of the book can accept or reject your request.
The owner needs to go to the BookRequests page to mark the book as returned for it to become available again.
1. Tag the books you would like to swap.
2. From the list of available instances, your friends will be able to indetify the books you want to swap.
3. Look into your library and check which books are available from swap among your friends.
4. Speak with your friends about the books you want to swap and make an exchange on your next meeting.
1. Tag the books you no longer need as a giveaway.
2. From the list of available instances, your friends will be able to indetify the books you don't need and ask you to give away.
3. Give the books to your friend when you meet.
1. Check the Goodreads documentation on how to export your books.
2. Go to MyBooks and press the upload icon.
3. Select the CSV file Goodreads provided for you.
4. Once the import finishes, you will see the imported books in your collection.
